Zelinski called Kyiv’s allies to provide more air defense systems

Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski announced on Saturday that Russia fired 40 missiles and about 580 deputies at Ukraine “in an intense attack” that resulted in three deaths and dozens of wounded.

“Every strike of this kind is not a military necessity but a deliberate strategy that Russia is pursued to intimidate civilians and destroy our basic facilities,” Zelinski wrote in a post on social networks.

Ukrainian President Kiev called for more air defense systems and imposed additional sanctions on Russia.

Earlier, the authorities of the Denipoproptrovsk region in the eastern center of Ukraine announced a major Russian attack with missiles and enlightening.

Sergey Lesak, head of the local military administration, said in a leaflet on “Telegram” that “the Dniprobetrovsk area was targeted again with an intense attack,” noting the destruction of buildings belonging to companies and fires.

Lesak announced the death of a dead person and 26 wounded, according to the latest toll of the victims.

Also, the authorities of other Ukrainian regions announced wide Russian attacks on Friday night.
