The American “NBC” news network revealed that many drivers have published videos that showed breakdowns that afflict the self -driving program.

The network found that more than 40 users published videos of breakdowns on social media platforms, since 2023.

One of the videos in May 2024 showed a “Tesla” car and almost collided with a train in Ohio.

Some drivers described the faults that their cars were subjected to, among them that the car failed to identify the lights and barriers, and that some users said that their cars did not stop while the train was going in front of them, and they resorted to using manual brakes to prevent the vehicle from progressing.

The full self -driving program of “Tesla” depends on a package of technologies that help driving without human intervention, and promotes the company as the “future of transportation”.

The US Road Traffic Safety Administration said it had contacted “Tesla” to reveal more details about the incidents that occurred when crossing the railway.

She explained that she analyzes user complaints, to determine whether there are any safety imbalances.

Last June, the “Tesla” car collided with a shipping train after it exceeded the barriers and violated traffic lights, but the accident did not result in any human losses.

Tesla was previously accused of describing the capabilities of its programs, during a trial related to the death of a person because of the system of the “automated leader” integrated into its cars, and was sentenced to pay 243 million dollars.

Earlier, CEO Elon Musk said that self -driving technology is “Tesla’s future”.

The American billionaire explained that his company will present an experimental version of the set of self -leadership, which will enable the dispensing of human supervision.
