June 1, 2025
American stock indicators ended their dealings on Wednesday, after investors evaluated the minutes of the last Federal Reserve (US Central Bank).
The Standard & Poor’s 500 index fell by 0.53% to close at 5889.95 points, and the Nasdaq collection index fell 0.47% to 19107.89 points, while the Dow Jones Industrial Index fell 0.56% to 42106.41 points.
The results of Invidia are scheduled to be issued after the conclusion of the session, and the data of the London Stock Exchanges group showed that analysts expect the chips industry to announce a jump in the revenue of the first quarter.
“The market is in the event of fluctuation today,” said the chief economist at Spartan Capital CISTIORESIIIAS in New York Peter Cardilo. However, the losses increased before the session was closed.
He added: “The minutes of the Federal meeting did not reveal anything new, that it indicates that the council is in a state of anticipation and is awaiting more clarity regarding trade.”
And US President Donald Trump fell early this week from his threat to impose customs duties by 50% on the European Union, prompting shares to rise sharply during the Tuesday session.
