Meta provides some features of artificial intelligence in its smart glasses

The giant American “Mita” company announced in a statement on Wednesday that some features such as simultaneous translation will be available to various users of its Ray Ban glasses, which work with artificial intelligence.

Interpretation into English, French, Italian and Spanish languages were only available for glasses in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

This feature is gradually available to all users, including the French, starting from Wednesday.

The group also announced that the feature that allows users to interact with the “Meta AI” artificial intelligence assistant, based on what the user sees through glasses, will be available in the European Union starting next week.

The assistant “Meta AI” was already present in France on the group’s “Ray Ban” glasses, but in a less progressive version, it only allows for simple questions to ask him.

“Mita”, which does not announce the number of users of its glasses, has combined “Meta AI” in its various services in the hope that the most used artificial intelligence assistant in the world will become, despite the progress made by “Chat GBT” from “Oben II”.
