Silver records its highest price in more than 4 decades

Silver fell during early trading on Friday, after touching earlier in Thursday’s session the levels of $51,235 per ounce, its highest level in more than four decades, and the metal is still up by about 70 percent since the beginning of the year, far outperforming gold’s gains.
