The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Saturday that its air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 42 Ukrainian drones over 6 Russian provinces.

The statement added: “Last night, from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Moscow time on October 11, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 42 Ukrainian drones.”

The ministry explained, “19 drones were destroyed over Volgograd Oblast, 15 over Rostov Oblast, 3 over Ulyanovsk Oblast, two drones over Voronezh Oblast, two drones over the Republic of Bashkortostan, and one drone over Saratov Oblast.”

Destruction of Ukrainian military equipment

On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Defense told reporters today, Saturday, that attack drone crews from the Special Tasks Battalion, affiliated with the “Center” group of forces, destroyed military equipment of the Ukrainian forces near Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) in Donetsk.

The Ministry of Defense reported that attack drone operators from the 56th Special Forces Battalion, affiliated with the 51st Guards Combined Forces, affiliated with the Center Forces Group, in cooperation with reconnaissance units, destroyed armored vehicles belonging to the Ukrainian forces on the Krasnoarmeysk axis.

The Ministry of Defense explained that the crews quickly destroyed several enemy vehicles, disrupting the rotation of Ukrainian force units in that direction.
