Zelinski announces Ukraine’s receipt of an air defense system from Israel

Zelinski pointed to military cooperation with Israel

Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski said on Saturday that his country had received the “Patriot” air defense system from Israel, and was already published.

Zelinski added that Ukraine will receive two other systems within weeks.

Ukrainian officials are scheduled to visit the United States within days, for talks on economics and weapons, according to the president.

Zelinski visited the United States last week, where he participated in the United Nations General Assembly and met his American counterpart Donald Trump.

Zelinski said he had briefed Trump on a “specific vision of what can be done” to respond to Russia’s actions, promising to respond if Moscow caused the power outage in Ukraine.

He added that 92 drones were on its way to Poland and that his country had dropped it.
