The South Korean “Samsung” company plans to launch its three -fold phone in the American market this year. CNN quoted informed sources about the company’s plan, as saying that “Samsung” is still evaluating the markets in which its foldable device will be offered.

The source pointed out that the company is still discussing the inclusion of the United States of America as part of its plan.

The network described this step as the task, as “Samsung” was restricting the launch of its new releases in specific markets such as Korea or China, as it did last year when it released the Galaxy Zai Fold 6SI.

This came at a time when “Samsung” and “Apple” and other companies are racing to create new designs to dazzle consumers, at a time when most users prefer to keep their phones for a longer period.

On Friday, Apple started selling the iPhone Air, which is the latest design in Apple products nearly a decade.

Bloomberg reported that Apple is expected to reveal the first foldable phone early in 2026.

As for “Samsung”, it launched the seventh generation of its foldable phones during this summer, and is preparing to launch a new version of its slim phone, “Galaxy S Edge” next year.

Samsung and Apple are the two largest companies in the mobile phone market, and they control about 35 percent of the global mobile market, according to international data for the IDC.

The new Samsung phone

The Samsung, which is folded from two places, will be among the radical changes in the company’s assortment, since the launch of the first foldable phone in 2019.

The company refused to disclose the details of the design of the device and the timing, and the markets in which it will be offered, but in return it made it clear that it is seeking to launch it at the end of the year.

“We do not want to provide the same experience in a different form,” said Pro Placard, Senior Vice President for the Samsung Phone Products Management in Samsung Electronics America.

“Samsung” had displayed models of trinity devices at the Plus Vegas Show. The South Korean company also plans to launch a new version of the Galaxy S2 Edge to compete with the iPhone Air.

A source from within the company explained that it will slim off its future devices, including the “Galaxy S”.

Phones without a charging and transparent screen

The company proposed the idea of producing phones without charging outlets, and “Apple” thought to remove the shipping port from the iPhone Air, and only rely on wireless charging, but this will make it thinner, according to “Bloomberg”.

But “Samsung” has not developed with these specifications, and is not currently planning to do so, although most phones support wireless charging, wireless chargers are not available in public places.

“Samsung” also discussed the release of a transparent screen, according to Minsuk Kang, the global president to plan phone products in Samsung.

However, the company is currently focusing on slim and folding phones due to the sales of these devices, according to CNN.
