“Federal Reserve” reduces interest rates 25 basis points

On Wednesday, the US Federal Reserve reduced the Federal Reserve (the US Central Bank), on Wednesday, interest rates for the first time this year, noting the slowdown and risk of employment threatening, with the increasing pressure of President Donald Trump on decision makers in the commission. The main benefit at a level ranges between 25.4 % and 4 %, in his first decision in 2025.
The Federal Reserve took the decision to reduce interest rates by 25 basis points, to a margin ranged between 4.0 percent and 4.25 percent, with two additional reduction this year. Only Stephen Miran, the new member of the Reserve Referees Council, opposed the decision, calling for a greater reduction.
The “Federal” decision is the first to reduce American interest in 2025, as the last reduction in the Federal Reserve for interest rates to December 2024.
On Monday, US President Donald Trump, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, called for a “larger” reference reduction in reference interest rates, noting the housing market in a publication via social media before the “Federal” meeting this week.
For his part, Federal Reserve President Jerome Powell stressed that monetary policy decisions are based on economic data, not political dictates.
