Fortnite returns to the Apple App Store

The video game “Fortnite” has become available again in the United States through the Apple App Store, according to Agence France -Presse correspondent, minutes after the developed “IPIC James” company announced that.

“Fortnite” launched in 2017 and achieved immediate success, then Apple removed it from its online store in 2020, accusing the company “APIC James” of violating its bases by providing the possibility of paying within its application without passing through the “Apple” system.

“Epick James” also indicated on the X platform that the game that allows one player to win after excluding all other players, also returned to Europe on the “iOS” operating system from “Apple”.

Fortnite was withheld in Europe on May 16.

“Apple” told “French” at the time that it was not behind the removal of the game from alternative application stores, and urged “Ebick James” to apply again to install the game.

The company has been ribing for the game since 2020 a fierce battle with giant technology companies about the commissions it imposes on programs that are downloaded through official stores on operating systems such as “IOS” from Apple and Android from Google- which is the only way traditionally for most users to install programs on their devices.

The company has filed lawsuits against the two giant groups, and developed its own application store that enables users to install games without the need for Apple and Google, which impose commissions that “EPEC” says are exaggerated.

An American federal judge said earlier this month that Apple did not comply with a judicial order issued in the “EPEC” case, which obliges the company, which manufactures “iPhone” devices, to allow users to other means to purchase content or services.

A spokesman for Apple at the time explained that the company strongly opposes the judge’s decision and intends to appeal before a higher court, but it will abide by it.
