Al Jazeera crowns the UAE Cup of the UAE Professional Association
Abdullah Ramadan and Nsinz Kibano scored the two goals of Al -Jazeera in the 18th and 55th minutes, while Sardard Azmun scored the only goal for Al -Ahly youth in the 50th minute.
Al -Jazeera, led by his Moroccan coach, Al -Hussein Amouta, achieved the League Cup title for the second time in its history after a previous coronation in the 2009/2010 season, to equal two titles with Al -Ain and Al -Nasr clubs.
Al -Jazeera also responded to the loss against Al -Ahly youth with the same result 1/2 in the final match of the 2013/2014 season, and broke the standard chain of his opponent by not losing in 33 consecutive games in all competitions throughout the current season.
The Al -Ahly youth team, the UAE league leaders this season, was unable to achieve its sixth title in the UAE Professional League Cup after previous crowning in the years 2012, 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2021, followed by Al -Wahda Club with 3 titles.
Al -Ahly youth are awaiting a new opportunity to compensate for this failure when it meets Sharjah on May 9 in the final match of the President of the UAE Cup, but the team’s hopes were lost in achieving a local trilogy.
